(80% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot) The nose is fruity, elegant and offers intensity as well as a beautiful deepness and elegance. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, tangy blue berries and small notes of balsamic associated with touches of redcurrants, hints of spices, nutmeg and a fine hint of black tea. A beautiful sensation of ripe fruits but with tanginess. The palate is nicely built, fruity, elegant, creamy, gourmand, delicate, supple, airy and offers a beautiful airy richness as well as acidity. A fine and mellow grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, creamy blueberry and small notes of ripe black berries associated with touches of black tea, star anise, violet, cornflower as well as a hint of black pepper, wild berries and strawberry. Beautiful silkiness, roundness and brilliance of the Cabernet Franc. A subtle almost caramelized/toasted hint, full of elegance. Nice persistence.
