(Bottled: 2019) The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of warm aromatic herbs, ripe blackberry and small notes of crushed cherry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, sweet pepper, infusion, toast as well as a hint of pâtisseries and a hint of coffee liqueur. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality / a mineral frame, gourmandize, suavity as well as a sweet peppery side. A slightly tight grain which presents verticality as well as straightness. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, violet and small notes of candied cherry, cassis liqueur associated with touches of coffee as well as hints of spices, pâtisseries, crème brûlée (in the background) and a hint of vanilla. Tannins are discreetly marked. Good length. Good persistence.
