The nose offers fruit, pulp, a nice power while being well-controlled/accurate, a beautiful texture as well as a powerful, racy and elegant grain. It reveals notes of violet, fig and small notes of bright Quetsche plum associated with touches of jammy strawberry, bright blueberry, hints of tobacco, liquorice stick, green cardamom, anise as well as fine almost citrus hints, a very discreet hint of aromatic herbs, toasted and a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is beautifully built, precise, delicate, elegant while mastering and offers a beautiful guideline, delicacy as well as a technical and chiseled side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed violet plum, candied cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of cornflower, crushed blueberry as well as hints of cardamom, fine hints of tobacco, smoke, toasted almond and an imperceptible almost thyme hint in the background. A hint of sweet spices. Good length.
