Quinta das Herédias 2020 – LBV Porto

(Bottled: 2024) The nose is fruity and offers brightness as well as a certain intensity with a kirsch character. It reveals notes of redcurrant liqueur, kirsch cherry and small notes of cassis liqueur associated with touches of plum blossom as well as hints of balsamic and a hint of star anise. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, brightness of the fruit, a tangy frame as well as fleshiness/pulpiness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, blueberry liqueur and small notes of kirsch red berries associated with touches of liquorice stick as well as a subtle almost mentholated hint, fig, tobacco and cocoa. Beautiful freshness and minerality.
