(Bottled: 2024) Beautiful, frank, powerful and concentrated nose which offers a small incisive side, darkness, a nice deepness as well as a certain freshness. It reveals notes of concentrated blackcurrant, camphor and crushed black plum associated with touches of black pepper, maceron, roasted cherry as well as hints of black tea, infusion, clove/four spices and a hint of pâtisseries. The palate is nicely mineral, fruity, suave and offers delicacy in its concentration, deepness, darkness as well as a certain roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, morello cherry and small notes of blueberry jelly associated with touches of jammy red berries, hints of Bourbon vanilla, turmeric, toasted, mocha as well as a discreet almost aromatic herbs hint and kirsch. Tannins are very fine and currently discreetly tight. Good length. Gourmand!
