Château Le Chemin 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is nicely fruity, intense and remarkably pure, with a certain fleshy character. We find notes of fleshy blackberry, concentrated blackcurrant and more particularly licorice, associated with fine touches of cornflower, small elegant roasted red fruits, as well as subtle notes of fresh sage, stevia, sweet spices and a discreet hint of pepper. On the palate, the wine is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, elegant and bursting with purity and gourmandise. What pulp and juicy fruit! Gourmand, with a fine elegant darkness, we find notes of bright blackcurrant, pulpy and bright blueberry, as well as bright small fruits. These aromas are combined with touches of elegant and juicy roast, a hint of blueberry, bright raspberry, and subtle nuances of licorice, toasted almond, roasted hazelnut and a delicate hint of vanilla. A supple, fresh, elegant and airy wine. A wine also spherical, bright and juicy, all in finesse like lace.
