The nose is fruity and offers a small compact side. It needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of red berries, fresh flowers and small notes of bright blackcurrant associated with fine touches of rose, blackcurrant leaf, clove, spices and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is beautifully-built, fresh, supple, precise, a fine crunchiness, roundness, a certain fat, gourmandise, accuracy, a small mellowness as well as a pulpy side with a beautiful freshness of the fruit. In mouth this wine expresses a floral touch, rose, pistil, small notes of small juicy and fresh red berries associated with touches of blackcurrant, purple plum and a racy minerality. We also find a hint of camphor, rosewood, bramble and fine cocoa nuances. The finish has a nice bitterness of cocoa. Tannins are fresh and tasty. Good persistence with good work on the bitterness.
