Château Plince 2022 – Pomerol

Château Plince 2022 – Pomerol

The nose reveals aromas of fruit, creaminess, with a fine richness and a gourmet texture. There are notes of creamy boysenberry, crushed strawberry, as well as small black berries, associated with gourmet touches of chocolate, blueberry, and a hint of bourbon vanilla. A discreet touch of roasted hazelnut is perceived in the background. The palate is fruity, juicy, smooth and fresh, offering a beautiful definition and a certain gourmandise and freshness. The texture is supple and balanced, with a nice stretchiness, while remaining airy and unctuous. The notes of creamy blackberry, bright cassis and crushed raspberry are associated with touches of racy minerality, chocolate, toasted hazelnut, a hint of vanilla and sweet blond tobacco. Good length, and the integration of the tannins is pleasant with a soft texture. A perfectly balanced Pomerol, with a beautiful definition and a gourmand and savoury persistence, combining creaminess and freshness.
