The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is delicate, elegant and gourmand. It expresses the aromas of juicy morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed blackcurrant, blackcurrant jam, ripe wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, combined with gourmand and sweet notes of dark chocolate, chocolate morello cherry, mint chocolate, as well as fresh wild mint, liquorice, cardamom, toasted hazelnut (with a touch of caramelized hazelnut). After aeration, we find tertiary notes of wet leaves and faded rose. The palate is tasty, gourmand, tangy and fresh. The attack is chiseled and straight – on notes of bigarreau cherry, fresh blackcurrant, bird cherry, raspberry, crushed morello cherry and blueberry. On the mid-palate, we find notes of liquorice, tobacco, wet leaves, faded rose and violet, which are complemented by delicate tangy and cocoa touches of cocoa nibs on the persistence. Good length with sapidity, solid but fine tannins, lively and salivating acidity (reminiscent of cranberries).
