The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose expresses a racy minerality (limestone, dry stone), associated with delicate tertiary aromas of tobacco, fallen leaves, undergrowth in the background. We then find notes of crushed morello cherry, macerated red cherry, wild blackberry, fresh strawberry and dried strawberry, associated with a touch of balsamic, a tasty spicy side (liquorice, nutmeg, clove), with herbaceous freshness (peppermint, crushed blackcurrant leaf, fresh tobacco). We also find gourmet and slightly sweet notes of chocolate, iris and peony. The palate is straight, chiseled and offers accuracy and precision. The attack expresses a good bitterness of bird cherry and cocoa, as well as a sharp, but integrated and refreshing acidity. We find fruity flavors (morello cherry, tart black plum, raspberry, blackberry, blackcurrant), herbaceous (wild mint, blackcurrant leaf, tobacco), as well as a spicy touch (liquorice, nutmeg) and tertiary (dried leaves, tea leaf). Beautiful sapidity in the mouth, associated with a lively acidity, a good bitterness and fine but solid tannins. The finish is persistent, spicy and herbaceous (dried herbs).
