The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose is chiseled, lively and tangy. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, cranberries, fresh raspberry, crushed blueberry, as well as a gourmet hint of morello cherry, associated with a racy minerality (limestone, even chalky, dry stone), a hint of blackcurrant bud and fresh flowers (iris, lily, violet). The palate is juicy, tangy and fruity. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, cranberries (with a good bitterness), raspberry, tangy strawberry, blueberry, as well as violet and iris. We also sense herbaceous notes (blackcurrant leaf, a refreshing hint of pepper) and a touch of limestone mineral on the persistence. The acidity is lively, energetic and salivating. Good persistence with a slight bitterness. The tannins are silky.
