Adriano Marco e Vittorio 2020 – Barbaresco DOCG

Adriano Marco e Vittorio 2020 – Barbaresco DOCG

A wine with an inclusive palate concentration that embodies everything one should expect from a Nebbiolo of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, a DOCG production area located under Alba, rather than Treiso, Barbaresco, or Neive. The Adriano winery has long been the benchmark for this portion of the appellation, and in this 2020 vintage, it offers wines with broad, soft tannins and a welcoming sense of volume. A smile, much like that of the young Michela, who has become the face of the winery.

In the past, Michela had the opportunity to go abroad, gain experience, and then return home. But her sense of responsibility and passion for her work prevailed. Her incredible energy is palpable in every moment spent with her.

The wine is a blend of grapes sourced from the winery’s vineyards, selected among its 30 hectares of property. It ferments in stainless steel at 28°C with a 10-day maceration on the skins and ages for 24 months, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in 35 hl Slavonian oak barrels. A classic Barbaresco with a quality-to-price ratio that is hard to beat.
