Beautiful, elegant, syrupy and fresh nose which offers a lovely floral guideline (in the background) that brings balance and elegance. Richness and fleshiness but all in balance. We find notes of candied kumquat, crystallized mandarin and small notes of raisined/passerillé (in the background/in elegance) associated with touches of dried apricot, fine hints of acacia, fresh verbena as well as a discreet almost candied ginger hint and a subtle gravels hint (in the background). The palate is elegant, well-balanced, beautifully bright, racy and offers roundness, fat, a spherical side as well as a beautiful, rich and fleshy texture (full of finesse and elegance). On the palate, this Sauternes wine expresses notes of dried apricot, crystallized mandarin and small notes of marmalade associated with touches of roasted pineapple, peach in syrup as well as hints of verbena, acacia, white flowers as well as a hint of honey, candied ginger as well as a subtle hint of toasted / vanilla. A fine sappy hint in the background which brings brightness and balance.
