The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is delicately perfumed, floral and airy. It first expresses floral aromas of cornflower, dried rose in the background, associated with notes of red cherry, red currants, crushed blackcurrant, tangy strawberry and fresh raspberry. Then, we find a touch of pepper (white pepper), sweet spices (licorice, clove) and roasting (toasted hazelnut, a very light touch of toasted oak), associated with refined herbaceous notes that bring complexity (dried mint, a hint of thyme). The palate offers accuracy, straightness, precision, an airy side in its fine and delicate tannic structure, but quite solid. It expresses the flavors of red cherry, cranberries, fresh raspberry and strawberry, associated with a good bitterness in notes of roasting (toasted hazelnut, even toasted almond, coffee), a fine spiciness (licorice, sweet pepper), as well as hints of blueberry and dried mint. Good persistence in the mouth, with a salivating acidity, a hint of bitterness and juiciness.
