The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose is fruity, gourmand, juicy, with light notes of roasted fruits, a distinct, but enveloped, woody and spicy aromas. It expresses notes of juicy morello cherry, roasted red cherry, fresh fresh, roasted raspberry, as well as fresh blackcurrant, heated wood, toasted hazelnut in the background, as well as liquorice, nutmeg, a very delicate touch of vanilla, a sappy hint of pine needles, violet and limestone minerality. The palate is chiseled, juicy, fruity, with finely tight tannins on the attack, as well as a good bitterness. It expresses the flavors of tart red cherry, morello cherry, tart strawberry, crushed raspberry, tannic bird cherry and blackcurrant, combined with notes of liquorice, white pepper and nutmeg in the background, blackcurrant leaf, pine needles, violet, as well as a delicate touch of fresh hazelnut in the background. Good persistence with a slight bitterness, a toasted and herbaceous touch of dried blackcurrant leaf and a nice acidity. The tannins are tight and slightly grippy on the persistence.
