The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers concentration of fruit, juiciness and the delicacy of sweet notes of fruit jam. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, raspberry coulis, red cherry jam, fresh morello cherry, as well as blackberry and black plum, associated with spicy notes of cardamom, nutmeg, licorice in the background and white pepper, as well as a tasty roasted side, slightly chocolatey (toasted hazelnut, dark chocolate, a hint of coffee) a hint of dried mint and tobacco. The palate is chiseled, tangy, with a lively, even sharp fruity attack, with a beautiful freshness. It expresses notes of sour red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, morello cherry, sour strawberry and blackcurrant, combined with notes of fresh tobacco, crushed mint, blackcurrant bud in the background, as well as a toasted hint (toasted hazelnut, a touch of smoke) and spicy (licorice, white pepper, cardamom). The tannins have a fine grain and good structure. Good length, with a lively acidity and notes of tangy fruits (red cherry, cranberries) on the persistence.
