The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers concentration in finesse, juiciness and a gourmet fruitiness. It expresses notes of red cherry, crushed raspberry, ripe strawberry, redcurrant jelly and crushed blueberry, as well as sweet spices (white pepper, liquorice, cardamom), a subtle floral fragrance (violet, cornflower, lily), as well as a hint of dried mint and toast. The palate is finely tight, juicy and fresh, with a certain concentration of fruity material. It expresses notes of tangy strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, cranberries and redcurrants, associated with spicy notes (white pepper, liquorice, cardamom), a toasted touch of hazelnut and coffee (with a slight bitterness), as well as fresh tobacco. The tannins are powdery and fine, but structured. Beautiful length on a lively acidity of red cherry and cranberries, with a touch of lily on the persistence.
