The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is gourmand, perfumed, with a distinct herbaceous and toasted hint. It first expresses the aromas of dried thyme and dried mint, associated with touches of toast, smoke and coffee, as well as a racy minerality (graphite, with an earthy hint). Then, we find notes of ripe and juicy fruits (wood fresh, crushed raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant), as well as fine notes of sweet spices (liquorice, white pepper, nutmeg), lilac and cornflower. The palate is silky and offers a certain concentration of freshness and airiness. It expresses the flavors of fresh strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, blackcurrant, associated with a delicate spiciness (nutmeg, liquorice, white pepper), herbaceous (dried mint, fresh thyme). The finish is persistent and offers a good bitterness of coffee, as well as a toasted and smoky hint. Beautiful salivating acidity, the tannins are fine and powdery.
