The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers a fine tension, airiness, as well as delicate spicy and toasted aromas. On the first nose, we find notes of gray pepper, liquorice, clove, associated with hints of toasted wood, toasted hazelnut, a resinous touch of pine sap in the background, as well as a touch of blueberry. We also find tangy fruits (raspberry, red cherry, dried cranberries in the background, blackcurrant), a hint of morello cherry and a subtle minerality. The palate is lively, chiseled and tangy, with tension and precision. It expresses the flavors of tangy fruits (red cherry, cranberries, crushed raspberry, blackcurrant), morello cherry, a hint of sappiness, as well as a fine toasted hint (toasted hazelnut, toasted oak in the background) and spicy (liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper), especially on the finish. The tannins are finely tight, perceptible and well-constructed. Beautiful salivating acidity, freshness and a good bitterness on the prolonged persistence.
