Domaine de l’Odylée Rosé d’Automne 2022 – Côtes du Rhône

(organic, Syrah) The wine has a bright partridge eye color. The nose is juicy, gourmand and fruity. It expresses notes of crushed raspberry, fresh strawberry, red cherry, morello cherry and redcurrant jelly, combined with a fine floral bouquet (rose, peony), as well as a touch of mint in the background. The palate is lively, tangy and expresses a good bitterness on the attack, accompanied by a chiseled acidity (a touch of cranberries). In the mid-palate, we find notes of red cherry, crushed raspberry, morello cherry, redcurrant jelly, as well as peony and rose in the background. The finish is fresh, tangy and chiseled, with a pleasant tannic hint. A straight, frank and gourmand rosé.
