Domaine de Lauribert Truffières 2023 – Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan

The wine has a deep ruby ​​color. The nose is chiseled, lively and tangy, with a certain density of fruit matter. It expresses distinct and aromatic notes of blackcurrant, sour red cherry, crushed raspberry, ripe strawberry (even with a touch of strawberry jam), associated with touches of fresh tobacco, crushed mint, a touch of white pepper, toast and violet (with a very light touch of rose in the background). The palate offers a silky and juicy touch, as well as a ripe and concentrated fruit matter. It expresses the flavors of ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed blackcurrant, blackberry, a hint of red cherry jam, as well as toast (even coffee), dark chocolate in the background, violet, white pepper, dried mint and violet which return on the finish. The tannins are structured, but fine. Beautiful acidity and a good bitterness on the finish.
