Domaine de la Bastide Visan 2023 – Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan

The wine has a ruby ​​color of medium intensity. The nose is quite reserved, tangy and finely floral. It expresses notes of sour red cherry, crushed fresh raspberry, roasted raspberry, strawberry, a touch of blackcurrant and black plum and blackberry after aeration. We also find menthol notes (peppermint, a touch of liquorice), spicy (white pepper, nutmeg in the background) and violet. The palate is juicy, fruity and bright, less tangy than the nose, even slightly roasted. It expresses notes of roasted raspberry, roasted red plum, black plum, blackberry, sour cherry and morello cherry, associated with touches of white pepper, nutmeg, smoke and violet in the background. The tannins are sapid, fine, slightly tight, with a good bitterness. Good persistence in the mouth, on juicy fruits, with a nice acidity and the deliciousness of roasted fruits.
