(organic, 100% Syrah) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with purple highlights. The nose offers density, tension, the solar side in its fruit, as well as perceptible spicy notes. It expresses aromas of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, bird cherry, black plum (even prunes in the background), dried blackcurrant and crushed blackberry. We also find notes of dried thyme, dried rosemary (even a Mediterranean hint of roasted herbs). After aeration, a fragrant floral bouquet (lily, violet, rosein the background) appears, accompanied by spicy touches of liquorice and nutmeg, as well as dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut in the background. The palate is dense, juicy, frank and expressive. The attack is lively and tangy, with notes of tart bigarreau cherry, blackcurrant, bird cherry, raspberry and blueberry. The mid-palate is finely toasted, with a good bitterness of toasted almond and coffee, as well as a fine touch of dried mint. The finish is savory and herbaceous (the Mediterranean notes of dried thyme and rosemary return especially at the end of the palate). The finish is tasty, chocolatey and fruity, with notes of tart blackcurrant and bird cherry and a salivating acidity. The tannins are firm, but fine and enveloping, chocolatey and mentholated.
