The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color with purple highlights. The nose is aromatic and fruity. It expresses notes of fresh wild strawberry, roasted strawberry, sour red cherry, morello cherry, crushed red currant and blackberry, combined with a fine herbaceous side (dried aromatic herbs – mint, thyme), as well as a slight smoky and earthy touch. The palate is juicy, with a certain concentration of fruit and a warm side that appears on the finish. It expresses flavors of fresh morellocherry, dried morello cherry, black plum, blackberry, fresh strawberry and roasted strawberry, combined with notes of smoke, liquorice, dried herbs (dried thyme) and a touch of slightly cocoa bitterness. The tannins are fine and supple, with chew and a good level of acidity on the finish.
