The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is aromatic, fruity, with distinct spicy and roasted hints. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, roasted cherry, roasted raspberry, raspberry coulis and juicy red plum, associated with notes of nutmeg, white pepper, liquorice, toast and peony in the background. The palate has a silky, gourmet, straight and slightly bitter attack. We then find notes of juicy blackberry, crushed strawberry, roasted morello cherry, raspberry coulis and red plum, associated in the mid-palate with notes of toast, toasted bitter almond, licorice, white pepper and cumin, as well as hints of rosemary, balsamic and star anise, which appear on the finish. The tannins are silky, sapid, chocolatey. Nice supple acidity, but refreshing and good length.
