The nose is aromatic, gourmand, precise, nicely textured in finesse and depth of grain. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy blackcurrant and more slightly – racy gravel associated with touches of juicy roasted berries as well as fine hints of gray pepper, zan and a discreet hint of cornflower. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, good definition, accuracy, tension, minerality. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry and more slightly – gravel associated with touches of iris, lily, cornflower, star anise, cocoa and toast in the background. Nice freshness and minerality, a certain richness and softness in the mouth. Soft and sapid tannins.
