CHÂTEAU DOMEYNE 2023 – Saint Estèphe

The nose is fruity, with a certain depth and fleshiness. It expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and more slightly – pepper associated with touches of cornflower, lily, fine hints of fresh pepper, cardamom, pencil and vanilla. The palate is mineral, fruity, tangy and offers energy, good definition, accuracy, tension, a certain brilliance, iodized/saline. It expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, bright redcurrants and more slightly – juicy/tangy blackcurrant, associated with touches of iodized minerality, bright/juicy small red fruits, hints of cornflower, star anise, toast and discreet chocolate. A subtle hint of blond tobacco on the finish/persistence. A certain harmony, energy and brilliance.
