CHÂTEAU MAUCAMPS 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose has a certain power, a stretched side and a racy and velvety grain, depth. It expresses notes of juicy cassis, small dense wild red berries and more slightly violet associated with touches of clove, spices and tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, tension, accuracy, suppleness and silkiness, a stretched side. It expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, black cherry and more slightly – pulpy violet plum, star anise, violet, lily, mocha, toast and infusion in the background. Good length, the tannins are fresh and well-managed.
