CHÂTEAU LAMOTHE-CISSAC 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is precise, silky, bright and well-defined. It expresses notes of bright cassis, bigarreau cherry and small notes of violet, associated with a touch of infusion, star anise and discreet hints of salt and vanilla pod. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, accuracy, a certain tension, brilliance, sparkle and gourmandise, an airy and stretched side, a lovely soft grain. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as a subtle hint of bourbon vanilla and toast. A certain softness on the finish/persistence.
