The nose is fruity, gourmand, precise and offers tension, accuracy and concentration. It expresses notes of morello cherry, bright blackcurrant and more slightly – small bright fruits, associated with fine hints of pulpy blackberry, nutmeg, cardamom, toast as well as a very discreet hint of graphite and chocolate. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and offers juiciness and brightness of the fruit, accuracy and tension, a tangy frame and a lovely fine and elegant grain. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, juicy/fresh cherry and more slightly – small juicy/fresh red berries, violet, lily, fresh plum, tonka bean, cardamom and a discreet hint of graphite and toast. The tannins are fine and chalky. A finely iodized finish, with an imperceptible floral and chocolate hint in the background. Lovely creamy material, fresh and juicy at the same time.
