Château Magnan de Gaffelière 2023 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is spicy and offers a fine concentration as well as a certain small power. It reveals notes of violet, tobacco, Cubeb pepper and small notes of clove associated with a hint of spices. The palate is mineral and offers fruit, freshness, a certain small tension, accuracy, a fine fat as well as a certain small roundness/small spherical side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy/pulpy blackberry and small notes of small red berries associated with touches of clove as well as fine hints of rosemary. Good length. A subtle hint of good bitterness from the cocoa on the finish/persistence.
