The nose is aromatic and offers delicacy as well as a fine complexity. It reveals notes of pulpy wild cassis, bright red berries and small notes of graphite associated with touches of cornflower, zan and a discreet hint of spices. The palate is nicely fresh, juicy, precise and offers a little tension as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cherry and small notes of fresh red berries associated with touches of violet, sage, star anise, a hint of morello cherry (in the background) as well as fine hints of toast and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are soft and finely sapid. Good length.
