The nose is precise and offers a fine controlled power, straightness as well as accuracy. An airy side in its slight austerity. We find notes of wild blackberry, Cubeb pepper and small notes of ripe wild berries associated with fine hints of spices as well as a hint almost rosemary, tobacco and smoke. The palate is fruity, fresh, balanced, finely tight and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, acidity, accuracy, tension as well as a graphite side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of fresh pepper associated with touches of smoke, graphite, camphor as well as fine hints of tobacco. The tannins are sapid and fresh. Presence of a subtle hint of rosemary in the background.
