Château Haut-Beauséjour 2023 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose offers a little concentration, spices as well as a certain depth. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, small wild red berries and small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh blackberry as well as discreet hints of spices and a subtle almost balsamic hint. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers a fresh, tangy frame, energy, a spherical side, brilliance, finesse of grain and texture. It expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, bright violet plum and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of toast, nutmeg, cardamom and discreet hints of cornflower and chocolate.
