The nose is nicely led, precise, frank, elegant and offers a certain power in accuracy. It reveals notes of fleshy (even creamy) cassis, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of pepper associated with touches of cornflower, violet, camphor/graphite, small roasted-juicy fruits as well as fine hints of tobacco. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant, gourmet and offers tension, race, a beautiful balance, a stretched side as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/bright cassis and small notes of bright red fruits associated with touches of liquorice stick, lily, fresh blond tobacco as well as a subtle hint almost aromatic herbs (in the background) and delicate vanilla hints. Good length and persistence. A subtle hint of coffee. Freshness and brilliance.
