Château de Chantegrive 2023 – Graves

The nose is fruity with a hint of fresh flowers, a little creaminess, tension, a fine stretched side. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – cornflower associated with fine touches of cubeb pepper and a very discreet hint almost fresh rosemary in the background. The palate is fruity, juicy, pulpy and offers creaminess, toastiness. It expresses notes of creamy raspberry, pulpy strawberry and more slightly – cornflower associated with touches of racy minerality, smoke and vanilla. Good length. The tannins are soft. A subtle hint of sappy/fresh flowers on the finish.
