Dame de Montrose 2023 – Saint-Estèphe

A lovely fruity nose, precise, ripe, fresh, taut, juicy, with a touch of graphite, power and stretched, airy, peppery concentration. It expresses notes of violet, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of graphite, incense, small dense/juicy fruits as well as a discreet hint of tobacco, saffron and clove in the background. The palate is beautifully juicy, and offers pulpy-juicy, freshness, tension, accuracy, a lovely airy and stretched side. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/bright purple plum and small notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, associated with touches of small bright red berries as well as hints of toast, star anise, a hint of cardamom, graphite. Good length. Power and concentration in the air. A subtle softness on the retro
