The nose is delicate, subtle, precise and offers a beautiful energy. It reveals notes of tobacco and quite ripe small red fruits associated with hints of nutmeg, almond and sweet spices. The palate is beautifully juicy, elegant, racy, supple, airy and offers an acidulous frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous blackberry, dried cherry and small notes of dried redcurrants associated with touches of tobacco, nutmeg as well as fine hints of undergrowth. A nice menthol and eucalyptus side in the background. Tannins are mellow and elegant. A fine chew on the finish. Good length. A very discreet almost cashew hint and mushroom in the background.
