Le Blanc de Fontenil 2022 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fresh and offers fruit, a certain crunchiness as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of crushed apple, crushed white peach and small notes of fresh apricot associated with a discreet hint of quince as well as a hint of fresh pineapple. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, a nice freshness, tension as well as a nice small fat (from the batonnage on lees). On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed nectarine, pulpy peach and small notes of juicy/pulpy pear associated with touches of lychee, pineapple as well as subtle hint of lime blossom. Good length. A nice iodized and fat.
