A lovely fruity nose, fresh, frank, chiseled, which offers a hint of graphite, depth and an elegant blackness. It expresses notes of violet, smoke and more lightly – camphor associated with touches of blackberry, roasted red berries, almost a very discreet hint of roasted herbs as well as hints of cocoa, a subtle hint of spices, maceration and toast. The palate is nicely led, fruity, and offers freshness, minerality, a nice definition, tension, accuracy, a tangy frame, delicacy, harmony, a fine austerity in elegance. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, small roasted-fresh wild red berries, associated with touches of black pepper, infusion/black tea as well as hints of blueberry, dense/pulpy blue plum, bigarreau cherry and more lightly – of racy minerality, associated with touches of violet, black tea, camphor and a subtle hint of smoke, toast and iodine/saline. The tannins are sapid, mellow, frank, precise, tasty. Nice freshness and precision, delicate and powerful touch at the same time.
