A lovely fresh, mineral, spicy nose, with a little blackness in freshness, a certain depth. It expresses notes of boysenberry of small roasted-pulpy red berries, violet and more slightly of fresh/pulpy blueberry, raspberry as well as a hint of smoke and toasted-fresh. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a fresh/mineral frame, tension, acidity, an infusion side and depth, a little blackness in freshness. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and more slightly – of blueberry associated with touches of violet, star anise, small roasted-juicy red fruits, racy minerality, a hint of small red berries, a subtle hint of almost roasted/Mediterranean herbs, fresh mocha and a discreet hint of almost toasted-fresh. Nice freshness and a spicy side, the tannins are sapid and tasty. A subtle salty hint on the finish/persistence.
