Château Suduiraut 2023 – Sauternes

A lovely fresh, floral, fruity nose, which offers indulgence, a lovely incisive side. It expresses notes of lemon zest, candied lemon and more slightly – candied berries, associated with a hint of fresh pineapple, roasted apricot and discreet hints almost verbena. The palate is nicely syrupy, fresh, all in balance and finesse, accuracy, lovely delicacy and finesse of detail. It expresses notes of candied lemon, candied kumquat and more slightly – vine peach in syrup associated with touches of fresh pineapple as well as fine hints of roasted berries, discreet hints almost buttery in the background and vanilla. Nice definition. A hint of flower honey on the finish and almond paste. Good length, a subtle hint of dried/roasted apricot on the finish/persistence, almost an imperceptible hint of roasted thyme on the persistence in the background. Chiseled and stretched.
