Château Pichon Baron 2023 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, beautifully racy and offers power in accuracy and control, delicacy, a captivating side in its complexity. It expresses notes of blackberry, roasted-juicy strawberry and more lightly – bright red berries associated with touches of zan, blueberry, racy bass as well as discreet hints of fresh nutmeg, graphite and a hint of tonka bean, sweet spices. The palate is beautifully led, fruity, fresh, beautifully stretched, all in accuracy and delicacy, a beautiful burst/acidulous fruit that caresses the mouth. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy bigarreau cherry, bright raspberry and more lightly – juicy/fresh blueberry, associated with delicate touches of bright red berries, chocolate, toast. Purity and a lovely texture and soft/iodized at the end of the boche, all in precision. Good length. Savory and gourmet/elegant tannins.
