The wine is worth decanting. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh mirabelle plum, fresh physalis and more slightly – fresh spices, associated with fine touches of smoke, nutmeg and a hint of peach blossom. The palate is nicely built, fruity, frank, tense, discreetly tight/contained. It expresses notes of quince, pear and more slightly – small yellow fruits, associated with touches of nutmeg, smoke, as well as a subtle hint of small crunchy wild fruits. Good length, a little chew and a tannic approach on the finish/persistence. Softness on the finish/persistence
