The nose is beautifully precise, frank, racy, airy in its velvety, tense, powerful. It expresses notes of blackberry, small dense fruits and more slightly – violet associated with notes of blond tobacco, fine hints of fresh sweet pepper, as well as an almost Mediterranean barrier hint and discreet hints of spices. The palate is beautifully mineral, fruity, balanced and offers accuracy, tension, roundness, suavity, a certain suppleness and an almost chiseled side of the grain. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and more slightly – bright blackcurrant, associated with touches of bright blue plum, small fleshy/juicy red fruits, hints of cornflower, tonka bean, chocolate, as well as a discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco. The tannins are soft, sapid, iodized and gourmet, with a nice chalky side. Nice soft finish/energetic, a nice complex multi-layered side. Nice freshness and minerality, nice hint of pulpy/explosive blueberry, graphite.
