Château d’Aiguilhe 2023 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

A lovely fruity nose, precise, textured, stretched. It offers notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, roasted-juicy raspberry and more slightly – quite ripe red berries, as well as hints of violet, lily, sweet pepper. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers gourmandise, a certain softness, an iodized side, energy. It expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, bright plum and more slightly roasted-juicy red berries, associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, discreet hints of sap and pepper. Good length. A chalky and cocoa hint in the background, nice silkiness and smoothness in gourmandise and finesse, softness.
