Enclos de Viaud 2023 – Lalande de Pomerol

Lovely fresh nose, textured, precise and offering tension in accuracy. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry and bright/fresh berries associated with touches of blueberry, star anise, hints of nutmeg as well as fine hints of tonka bean and a very discreet hint of blueberry. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh, mineral, balanced, nicely racy, airy and offers a nice juiciness/brightness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/fresh raspberry, purple plum and small notes of blueberry associated with a touch of fresh/bright blue fruits, hints of lily, lilac, tonka bean as well as a hint of dark chocolate and toast. The tannins are fresh, sapid and mellow. A nicely fruity wine.
