Roc de Cambes 2023 – Côtes de Bourg

A lovely fruity nose, gourmand, with good maturity. It expresses notes of kirsch cherry, blackberry and more slightly – crushed/fleshy blackcurrant, associated with touches of juicy-roasted raspberry, as well as fine hints of lily and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, racy, nicely defined, and offers gourmandise, a tangy frame, accuracy, tension and brightness of the fruit. It expresses notes of bright/bright cherry, roasted/juicy raspberry and more slightly – pulpy/explosive blackcurrant associated with touches of blueberry, fresh balsamic, toasted, roasted and a fine hint almost aromatic herbs in the very discreet background. Good length, roundness, suppleness, airy softness, nice hints of good bitterness and a subtle hint of almost grilled herbs on the finish/persistence.
