Château Belair Monange 2023 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé

Château Belair Monange 2023 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé

A lovely fruity nose, fresh, chiseled, spicy, which offers depth and a lovely finish. It expresses notes of creamy Boysenberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more lightly – pulpy/bright blue plum, associated with touches of toast, chocolate as well as hints of fresh/juicy raspberry, as well as fine pints of graphite, camphor. A lovely sense of detail and precision, a very discreet floral hint in the background. Lots of relief and elegance in modern classicism. The palate is nicely led, fresh, fruity and offers brilliance, delicacy, accuracy, a lovely brilliance and purity of the fruit, nicely chiseled, precise, textured and stretched. A lovely little airy character. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, pulpy/shiny blackcurrant and more lightly – bright purple plum, associated with touches of cornflower, toast, star anise as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, vanilla and discreet hints of chocolate. Soft and gourmand, lovely notes of bright/shiny cherry. All in accuracy and control. The tannins are savoury, powdery, elegant, juicy and delicious. Lovely juiciness and freshness.
