The nose is mineral, with a touch of graphite, roundness and a sensation of matter. It expresses notes of violet, pulpy blackberry and more slightly – bright raspberry, associated with touches of small fleshy blue fruits, as well as fine hints of lily, star anise and a hint of racy minerality. The palate is nicely conducted, fruity and offers freshness, accuracy, tension, a tangy frame, a nice velvety/textured side, matter, roundness and an airy side in its matter. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and more slightly – cornflower, associated with touches of graphite, toast, toasted hazelnut, as well as fine hints of blueberry, bright raspberry, small bright blue fruits and chocolate. Good length, nice softness and sapidity, a fine hint of graphite in the background. Chalky and elegant tannins. Lovely soft persistence.
